Forgiveness... What is forgiveness? What does it mean or how do we forgive, ourselves or others? In the internet, forgiveness is defined as, the act of forgiving or the state of being forgiven; Willingness to forgive. But... What does it mean to you?
Many of us often forgive, as often as daily. Might be walking on the busy streets of New York City and someone accidentally bumped on you, you forgive. Maybe a friend offended you either intentionally or unintentionally, you forgive(one of the perks of being friends with the person). Or something as stupid as one of your friends taking/stealing your water bottle, drinking it and leaving you 1/4th of it, especially when you needed it. Usually ends with you saying something like:
You: You're an asshole.
Friend: My bad *laughing*.
You: No... You're fucking asshole for doing that.
Which of course in the end you still forgive your 'stealing water bottle friend.' Also there are those things that are hard to forgive in our life. Whether its in friendships, relationships or within ourselves, especially.
There are those things in life that we wish to be perfect such as relationships. In particular, having a girlfriend or a boyfriend. We wish things to workout perfectly like the ones we see on romantic movies, romantic novels, or the couples we might see on the parks or beaches...maybe holding hands, kissing, or cherishing each other, an awe feeling when seen. But of course, relationships was never perfect nor will it ever be perfect and there are those times where people experiences betrayal that comes with it.
We get hurt, betrayed, left hanging and consumed by our mixed emotions. Sometimes we feel that we are at fault for everything that had gone wrong, blaming others and ourselves especially. Sometimes we just want to be gone, to the point of non-existence, feeling that there is no longer any point of it, that the world works better without you. Sometimes we give up because it seems that every time we try and try, there's no hope. Not even a single light of hope that may shine upon you.
The negativity, hurt, emotions and self blaming is up to you. Whether you let it take control of your life or you take control and look at the positive side of it and its many possibilities. This is where Forgiveness comes into play. All you have to do is accept and understand it.
Forgiving yourself is much harder than forgiving someone else, especially when you're carrying a sense of blame that has happened in the past. A bundle of negativity that shelters deep inside you that causes a never-ending sense of unhappiness. Forgiving yourself is an important act of moving forward and release yourself from the past. Not being able to forgive yourself causes you to be constantly chewed up by fear of your vulnerability, burning with anger with the source of pain and living with the constancy of sadness, hurt, and blame. Forgiveness allows you to release yourself from the past and live the present with a renewed sense of purpose. Focusing on changes, improvements and of course building on experiences instead of being held back from your past hurts.
Accept your emotions and let go of the people's expectations from you. We have no control over what people may do or say. Live life according to your purpose, what you want in life and not live up to someone else's expectations or else you'd be living a life of self-loading living to someone else's expectations. Follow yours instead... Stop punishing yourself and forgiving does not mean you need to forget the past, but to keep in mind what happened and use it as a lesson.
Remember to embrace who you are and love yourself and give yourself permission to heal. Forgiving yourself targets specific things that you feel bad/sad about, not about the person you are. Allow yourself to be free...laugh more and stop taking it all seriously, give yourself some freedom.
And last but not least, self-forgiveness is a gradual process...

Chances
Do you still believe in Love? Maybe Feelings? Or perhaps Soul mates? ...
I do...
It seems full of BS but its there, it exist. But you gotta admit people aren't feeling it. Instead, letting the computer do it for them. You probably are thinking...what are you talking about? computer??? If you must know, many actually rely on such thing to find that person now a days. The 'right guy' or 'right girl' --- no BS, it's 100% true.
Many people are sick of looking for the 'right' person because it always seems to end up terrible. They end up miserable, hurt, betrayed when they thought they found the perfect person for them. Instead, to put their faith in technology.
Let's get to the point...
Not all of us are in the same page, but I'm at the page where I still believe that someday you'll find that person, the right person. The person who will treat you right... It might take forever to find that 'right' person and you might have to go through so many jerks, assholes, fucking cheaters or whatever...you name it. But in the end, after having to go through those rough times of searching...will be worth it. The search for that person who'll treat you right, the treatment you deserve as a person, who has a heart and feelings, who are fragile and easily be broken if not well taken care of...you know???
Chances, it's always worth it taking chances in finding that right person in your life. Maybe in between finding that right person, you may have crappy relationships...Dane Cook would say "Relationshit!" but the point is those crappy relationship, those miserable times teaches you to be tough, a learning experience that will lead you even more to the right person you are looking for...you know? Experiences that will help you, us how to have a better relationship, with any kind of relationship. Whether its friendship, marriage, or relationship with your parents, etc.
Chances lead us to them in the end and ends up beautiful...

Do you Know Who You Are?
Chameleon...do you not think that we as people can relate to other animals like chameleons, perhaps? We, as people of the world are, in a sense, a lot like chameleons that always blend in their surroundings in order to survive. Like a chameleon, we always do our best to blend in our surroundings, the environment, or our society, that we state in for survival and fulfillment reasons.
Here are some questions...
When was the last time you met a person that is..."real" or "legit" you'd say, perhaps? When was the last time you met a person that knows who they really are? I'm pretty sure that many agrees and disagrees that it's hard to find a "real" or "legit" type of a person. Or, the person that know who he/she is... Well of course, except for your best friend. But even your best friend can be deceiving, due to the fact that they have the power to deceive you.
Each and every individual wants to fit in certain group(s) that they desire to be apart of. Perhaps, let's use High School life as an example. In High School, teenagers reaches the part of their life where social life and acceptance become, in a sense, more important. This is where things become very interesting(and sad but true) and if you are still currently in High School or have been in High School, or even remember your High School years. You'd likely understand what I'm talking about.
As you may already know, many teenagers goes far for social acceptance. There are those "bad cool people, good cool people, bad losers, good losers, the weirds, the freaks, etc..." I could go on and on but you get the idea...high school.:)
Let's say the teenagers that wants to fit in the "bad cool people" group because they think it's "bad ass" and would make them "popular." Those teens usually do things that they don't normally do or do things that are demoralizing. Like for example, a student(a guy) may pull a fire alarm because he was dared to do so by his new friends that are "cool" and "popular." Or, dared to pull down some "nerdy and a total loser" student's pants and humiliating that person in from of the entire class, or perhaps in front of the entire students in the cafeteria. These do happen...maybe not in your school but maybe other schools. Let's go to High School girl's "part..."
Many girls are more into the social acceptance thing comparing to guys. Many girls go far beyond what is necessary. I'm pretty sure you've met those types of girls during your High School years or even currently. Some girls goes as far as preferring the "cool pretty girls" friends than their real caring friends. Or prefer being with the "popular" girls that gets it "in" and/or the "popular" girls that every girls would want to be like. Also, girls do things that they don't normally do so that they'd be accepted by the "popular" and "hot" guys that are total douches I'd say. I'd be assuming the you already got the idea of what they might be...
I could go on and on, on the things that we do as individuals to survive in our surroundings, environment, or our society. It may be at school, work; with people like family, friends and neighbors, etc... We try to blend in for survival and fulfillment reasons just like a chameleon.
Be real,choose carefully and choose right:)
Ask this to yourself one day, "Who am I?"
It's the simplest question you could ask yourself but the hardest to answer. What do you think?

Chameleons never successfully blend completely and so do humans. Those are our failures... hahaha!

We rarely talk at all,
But we do say "hi!" passing by down the hall.
I think of you day by day,
Thinking what I should say.
Friends say it is all just lust,
But I desire not lust, I shall prove if I must.
I don't know why I like you,
Or even know why I fall for you.
This feeling I have is not fake,
It is strong and can't break.
Maybe it is your eyes, laugh and smile,
